| Internet connections I'm thinking about traveling in the fall but the thought of traveling without my DSL is painful, as dail-up seems so slow to me now. Does anyone have any suggestions for internet connections when travel nursing includes moving Q 3months? Anyone had success with WI-FI? |

| Admin aka Shortbus | Re: Internet connections wi fi is great when available. Dialup for me would be like dieing a slow death. Once you go broadband you can't go back. It's like getting a big screen HDTV and then being forced to watch tv on a 13 inch black and white without cable. It's just not the same... |

| Re: Internet connections Hi, If you have corporate housing you can certainly use dial-up there. I have MSN for a back up but like you I prefer cable. When you have your cable TV set up have internet service included. I am in RI at the present time and it was only 19.99 so that's not bad in my book. Sometimes there is a deal going on for free set up or 3 months free. Free is always good in my book. Just be sure to tell the rep that you are planning to be there only 3 months. Of course with an extension that could change. Just don't want to get soaked with early termination fees. WR,,, three commas for Becca The name's changed but I will always be WindingRoad. |
