I am currently employed by HealthProviders Choice, my contract ends 04/11/06. This was a horrible exprience as soon as I pulled out of my driveway 2000 miles away. Seems the recruiter forgot to do a drug test/physical on me which put my start date 2 weeks later. Promise to make good on the two weeks pay, if I worked other facilities it would be "a good chance for over-time," as quoted by the owner of the company. 1st and 2nd paycheck arrives, only the 12 hour shift I actually worked, had to be put in a situation where I had to call and beg for my paycheck. Put me in a beautiful complex in the worst part of town, refused to move me after 5 calls to them. Recruiter got fired for "her" mistake of not doing drug test/physical on me. New recruiter, Jeff--won't return phone calls, emails or any correspondence with them, neither will owner. Refused to extend lease on apartment for 2 weeks because of my later start date even with signed contract of later start date. Had to call the hospital to tell them I didn't know what to do. I and the apartment complex called and emailed both recruiter and owner several times about this, after calling the hospital, they extended my lease. I had to pay for ALL UTILITIES, and asked them about this several times with no responses as to why. Now my contract is ending and no one has called to see if I want to renew, which I would love to at this hospital or if I want to go somewhere else. I am so upset with this company. This was my first travel experience. I know have a job offer through American Traveler, can anyone give me any advice?
