Wink I love Nursefinders travel!

Hi everyone,

My name is Suzy and I just wanted to put my two cents in about nurse travel. I am currently working on my first travel assignment in Texas with Nursefinders. I decided to go with them because they have a ton of per diem branches and are a fairly new travel company. I think Goldman Sachs bought them. Anyways, I love my recruiter. She actually gave me her cell phone number to call her if I ever had an emergency. The pay is pretty good but I tend to want to be loyal to my recruiter. Is that bad? I know there are a ton of companies out there but I would love to hear feedback on Nursefinders. My first paycheck was sent to the wrong address but my recruiter paid the fedex fee out of her own pocket so I may be a lifer. What do you all think? Thanks in advance and I love this forum!!!

Re: I love Nursefinders travel!

I do not work for NurseFinders, but my current assignment is subcontracted through them, and they lose my time sheets almost EVERY week! So my own company ends up having to straighten everything out.......

Re: I love Nursefinders travel!

Hey Amanda,

Thanks for replying. I guess Nursefinders owns the contract with Kaiser so according to them if I ever wanted to travel to Ca I would make more money than with any other company because all the rest have to subcontract through them. I asked my recruiter about the timesheet issue with Kaiser but she had never heard anything about it. The other thing that was cool was that I could take a travel assignment and work at one of their per diem branches as well and have one w2 form at the end of the year. Although I am new to this travel stuff, I may just end up travelling for the next 30 years.

Re: I love Nursefinders travel!

That is why I had to subcontrat through them- because I am at a Kaiser facility right now. Of course your recruiter is going to tell you they know nothing about the time sheet issues...... They're trying to recruit you! But on a weekly basis, when Nurse Finders sends my time sheets to my company so my company can pay me, they regularly leave one or two days worth of time sheets out. When I tried calling Nurse Finders to correct the problem, they're staff is VERY rude, so now my company's payroll has been dealing with them and fixing their mistakes for me.

Re: I love Nursefinders travel!

Thanks so much for the feedback Amanda. So far I have not had any problems with my timesheets. I have my recruiter's cell phone number just in case. I will keep an eye out for any lost timesheets though. All in all, I really like this company.

Thumbs up Re: I love Nursefinders travel!

I am thinking about my second assignment in a few weeks and almost fell off my chair when my recruiter called me from home yesterday with locations and pay rates etc. I know you have to be leery but I really love my recruiter AND this company.
