Question Housing problem

Ok, hospital to provide housing, so after 6 weeks, the hospital called me to tell me that i have to move out of their apartment because they hired a full time person who is moving from out of state to take this job and they need to give them the apt until they get housing.
So, i was sent to a dumpy motel and called my company and told them i'm not going to stay in the dump. So, the hospital set me up at a 4+ hotel for 4 days . I'm in a pickle because between the hospital and company they have not been able to find anything decent and places without kitchens, only micro and coffee pot.....which then i have to eat out,,,expensive and inconvenient.
I'm not happy about this,, need your help..........
This whole thing stinks..

No Cougar, I'm not kidding... I had to throw out all my food from the apt. Then pack, unpack, repack, and unpack again in 24 hours.

What do you think about this.

Wink Re: Housing problem

I'm suprised the hospital can just order you to move. What did the contract say?

Anyways what I'd do is do some searches in the area for short term apartments (craigslist etc) also search for local Real Estate companies that do property management and copy and paste the same letter to all of them saying what you need briefly.
Many apartments also offer a corporate set up some reasonable some unreasonable. Apartments.com and Apartmentratings.com are some useful sites also sublet.com.

This way you don't wait for them to stick you whereever and you may be able to present some of the options as a win/win situation.

I did this several times found a turn key corporate type apartment with everything and the company just had to sign agreement and send check.

Re: Housing problem

Contract says Hospital provides housing. I'm in a small area and collge town not much available..My company did call real estate place and found a house that a lady is renting out a room..Not what I had in mind..Oh boy,
no short term condos at least as of Friday..
Craigs list turned up only regular leases.
Thanks for your ideas
