I was wondering if anyone has traveled with Talemed? They are rated the #1 travel company on Travel Nursing articles, information, and the latest book on travel nursing, "Highway Hypodermics: Travel Nursing 2007." If everything is true on their website, then they must be an excellent company to travel with. I am not naive enough to believe everything on a website, which is why I am posting here to try to obtain some feedback from the real soldiers out there working for them! Any info would be great. Thanks in advance. I checked out the review section and this company isn't even listed.

I wonder how they managed to be voted #1 as a travel company for nurses when no-one has even traveled with them????

I just finished an assignment with TaleMed. They are not bad. I wanted to go back to Montana for the summer and I went back with the hospital I had left to go traveling. I really don't have any complaints with the company during my assignment. There were a couple of gliches in my paycheck but they made it right immediately after I talked to them. My only problem is they are not looking very hard to find my next assignment. I had been with the big agencies and had problems with each of them during my assignment so it was nice to have a trouble-free assignment this time. If they would find me another assignment where I want, I would stay with them.
