Good Travel Companies

Hello to everyone this site has such good information.

I am considering traveling but am so tossed up with which company to go with. I read the threads and some people have such horror stories it almost scares me. I have talked to NurseRx (which right away I didn't click with the recruiter), Travel Nurse Across America and Travel Nurse Solutions. Does anyone out there have any other companies you would recommend. Thanks for any input.

Re: Good Travel Companies

I have to reccomend my company. Innovative Placements Inc. They are a smaller company, but provide me with everything that the big companies do. They have been nothing but good to me. I get paid very well on all my assignments and I always have a nice private, furnished apt, benifits from day one, and a recruiter that I can always get ahold of easily. I have always (so far) gotten an assignment I wanted and I really do feel like my co. backs me 110%. Sorry to sound like an info-mercial, but I hear all the horror stories about the many, many compaines out there and I am so fortune that I have a good one.
My recruters name is John Engleman, and let him know you heard it from me, Megan Baute.:luck:

Re: Good Travel Companies

I am currently on my second assignment with RN Network- they have been great. Great pay, lots of assignments available all over the country, excellent housing & day-1 benefits. If you have any specific questions, or would like my recruiter's name & number/e-mail, send me a private message.

Re: Good Travel Companies

If you like a company but don't hit it off with your recruiter ask for another one. I have worked with Bonnie Pero at NursesRx and Vickie Robinson at Cross Country.
Cross Country has the best web site in the business. You can see actual jobs that are available right now. Good Luck.

Re: Good Travel Companies

I worked with some really good companies. Fastaff is terrific- they are always organized, and pay great! On Assignment has wonderful assignments and usually offer a rental car as well, in addition to your flight. Nursing Innovations out of Memphis has also offered the same great incentives. Make sure if you work in Ca. that you get paid for overttime, everyday, when you work over 8 hours. No matter what the company, and where they are located, it is a law, in Ca., that they pay. Check your contract, before signing.
