Do you have to have your BA to travel?

I was wondering if you could be an ADN and travel or if it required your BA. Traveling is something I am very interested in when I graduate, so I would like to learn as much as possible!

You don't need the BSN or BA to travel.

BA ? as in "arts"? how does that translate to a nursing major? I'm confused.
I have traveled with diploma nurses.
The more certifications you have, the better your profile and there fore the better chances of picking your destinations and getting the assignments.
Also, having more than one specialty will allow you to always work.
But in doing that, it would be at least a year or more in each area. So you'd be looking at 3 years from the point of starting work to begin travel.
That's only if you wanted 2 areas. And you do.
However, I don't know how you know exactly what specialty you want to do your entire career in 1 to 2 years.
I've had 3 areas, 27 years and am looking at another. Which means stopping travel for a bit and getting trained.
That's why I love nursing! Well, one reason

No you just need at least an ADN. Although working in most foreign countries requires a minimum of a BSN.

In this economy probably every little bit helps such as BSN, Certifications in your specialty or related degrees or anything to market yourself.

lol! You knew what I meant! I was thinking about going ahead and getting started on the "BSN" asap. My advisor said it's only an additional year online because I'll have all the clinicals, so I was thinking about it. I guess I should def do it.
