Hi all ! I am in the market for a new job. I would like to find a travel contract locally. I know that really doesn't fit the definition of "Travel Rn", but I am a family man. I can't just get up and go like singles do. I want to get in on some of the benefits travelers seem to enjoy too! Is there a way for a rooted type guy to do this or am I daydreaming? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks-Ice

Re: Daydreams of travel nursing I don't know that there would be a whole lot of asignments in Oklahoma- you could try a local agency, otherwise, it depends on how far you're willing to drive.

Re: Daydreams of travel nursing You may try looking at Per Diem agencies many of which will do an assignment with a start and end date like a block book assignment. Many Per Diem agencies also have travel divisions as well like Maxim, Nursefinders, Favorite Nurses etc. CJ Travel Nurse Toolbox
