Contract Negotiator vs. Recruiters

Hi Everyone,

I recently used a Contract Negotiator/Agent to negotiate my latest contract here in California. I will never go back to using Recruiters again. It was a whole different experience. It made it very clear to me that Recruiters are out for themselves where as the negotiator is unbiased and doesn't have anything to do with Travel Agencies. The negotiator/agent works solely for the nurse, and works to make the nurse the best possible deal. There are other perks involved besides the money and not having to deal with recruiters. You guys really should try it. I bet you'll never go back to dealing directly with recruiters again.

I have been traveling for 4 years now and still seem to get shafted out of the money that I know should be mine. So, when I was in Seattle, I met another travel nurse that had used a Contract Negotiator/Agent that represented her to multiple travel companies at one time and she got the job she wanted, doubled her pay per week (take home pay) and the agent takes care of the recruiters for you as a service so you don't have to hear from them. Your contact is the agent/negotiator who doesn't call and pester you. So, I tried it and she was right! I'm now in Fresno, CA. making 1800 per week net vs. 1000 per week net from medical express in seattle. There are other perks that come with using an agent that just turned out to be such a pleasant surprise. I will never go back to dealing directly with the travel companies. Why should I? I get paid a hell of a lot more and without the hassle of dealing with them directly.

I think that the idea of a negotiator/agent is a new thing and so word of mouth is my particular agent's advertisement.

Anyway, I've been so thrilled about it that I've just wanted to share with other travelers out there who I know have had issues with travel companies like I have. We should all be in this together.
So again how do you get in contact with this person and how are they paid?? It sounds like a great deal and wonderful however we are wondering how to get a slice of the pie as well? could you give us some contact and money info related to this negotiator/agent person and some contact info??? Thanks a lot
