I am very interested in Travel Nursing, but which company? I have heard horror stories about several and I have heard great things about several. I am interested in doing this but a little nervous and scared. How do you make that first step and with which one?

I tried to contact one quite a while back and they called my boss at the hospital where I work. I never told them I would sign on...thank goodness my boss understood that this company was trying to do what ever they could. She apparently looked me up on the internet and found the only 2 hospitals in my area. I have friends at both...small town...I knew that this company had called before the end of the day. I was furious.

Anyway, now I am afraid to call anyone. How do I know which company is actually reputable? The company that I originally spoke to still harrasses me. They call me at least 3 to 4 times weekly. I don't answer but seeing the name on my caller ID is very annoying!

I work for Trinity Healthcare Staffing, I am currently on my first assignment and they have been wonderful. Don't let the companies harass you, they get paid to sign you up and can be very "stalker like" Be up front with them, let them know the times you want to be contacted, let them know that you will not answer otherwise.
