I am looking to start travel nursing in May and have narrowed down the choices of companies to RN Network, Trinity Healthcare Staffing and Premiere Healthcare Professionals. Can anyone give me an idea of what company to go with? You advice is much appreciated!

I am currently on my first assignment in Arizona with Trinity and have had no major problems thus far. My housing is average and there was a little problem getting my internet set up but is was not because of them. My recruiter has been very good so far and calls me at lease once a week to see how I'm doing. All my paychecks have been correct and on time. His name is Matthew Clayton if you need a recruiter to talk to. I am happy with my decision to use Trinity thus far.

Where do you want to go? Some agencies are in specific areas. I would suggest calling Hospital Support, ask for Mike, he started that agency and is pretty fair about money, If you want northern California, try Bryan Healthcare, kathryn owns it, she pays well too. Only you can decide what is best for you. But be sure to call many different agencies.

I would suggest calling many different agencies, keeping a list of each one you talk to and what was said....pick a place you want to go... For example

Say you want to go to Sacramento,CA.= I know what the pay is here
you do med/surg/ortho/neuro = $40/hr
you want to work nights 7p-7a = time&half after 40hrs
you'll take the agencies housing= includes cable/local phone or
extended stay
and you will need a rental car $125/week
you need round trip air fare $450

This is the information I want to have before I even fill out any applications. If you call an agency and they do not have a contract where you want to go then move on to another... don't waste your time.
