Question Colorado Springs?????????

Hi Everyone....

I am needing a change from the hot phoenix sun and am thinking of relocating to the colorado springs area. I currently work agency in phoenix and love the freedom and financial stability it offers. I understan CS is smaller than phoenix and does not have as many hospitals so more than likely i will not be able to do the same thing there. I currently work in different kinds of ICU's and at one time my specialty was open hearts but have not been staff anywhere for 5 years now. Any recommendations on the area hospitals and/or the area in general?? Is it feasible to live somewhere in between CS and Denver and have the availablity to work in either area or it that hard to do? i was thinking that way as an option and plan on visiting the area with a real estate agent first it hash out my options. I just envision Denver as too much like phoenix and prefer something smaller and quieter.....any advice????

Re: Colorado Springs?????????

You can always look in the Monument area (nice midpoint between Co. Springs and Denver). There are some nice hospitals in S. Denver (Sky Ridge Medical Center in Lone Tree and Parekr Adventist Hospital in Parker, CO). Another suggestion would be to join the Centura Float Pool. The Centura system is home to about 8 hospitals in Denver, Co Springs and Pueblo. Just some food for thought I guess. Let me know if you need help. I do full time placement in both Denver and Co. Springs.

Thanks,
Connor Bartley

Monument is a great place to live--I know! I live here. From here, the new Memorial North hospital is only 20 minutes away, or it's about a 40 minute drive to the Sky Ridge Medical center off Lincoln in Denver. I just happen to also be a realtor so if you are looking for an agent to show you around when you get serious, please give me a call! I work from the Monument AND Colorado Springs offices, but also sell in Denver. My name is Mary S. with Prudential Professional, REALTORS and you can contact me **PM for contact info** to look at local real estate information. I can even set you up with a personalized website that notifies you when new listings meeting your criteria are in the mls. I worked at the (old) Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs for 17 years and I know some folks to hook you up at Sky Ridge if you want information!
