Re: Cape Fear Valley Health System Haven't ever worked there, but I was actually talking to someone today at my new assignment in the ER at Salisbury, NC- he used to work in Fayetteville in the ER, and told me to avoid it at all costs- he said it's a horrible place to work & that the hospital in general is just crappy.

Re: Cape Fear Valley Health System Like I said, never worked there myself, that's just what he said. It was pretty funny that you had posted that, because I had just been talking with him about it that same day- weird! If you do decide to go there, let us all know how it works out.

Re: Cape Fear Valley Health System As a traveler, most phone interviews I've had have been really short. They spend a lot of time telling me about the hosital & unit, answer my questions (I always ask about floating, being in charge, pt. ratio, possibilities for overtime, etc). Then sometimes they ask why I chose their hospital- always go to the hospital's website & read it before your interview- then you'll know more about it & have something to say about it in your interview.

Re: Cape Fear Valley Health System Well I am accepting a position there in the morning. Sounds very busy! 48 bed ED, 300 visits per day.
