CA license

I'm applying by mail to get my CA license. It says on the website it takes 1-2 months. Most of my friends have done the walk through in person and got theirs the same day. But that is not really an option for me right now. Has anyone here applied by mail to CA? Did it really take that long?

Re: CA license

I did it mid december (had to deal with christmas and new years holidays) and mine still came by january 20th or so, a little over a month. And I didnt' get my permanent license until April I think so make sure you get both temporary and permanent license (I think it was $136). Good luck

Re: CA license

Thanks so much for the info. I didn't realize there was going to be so much paperwork involved when I started all of this. But I'm finally getting to the end of it now.

Re: CA license

Most agencies will reimburse you for the fees if you choose an assignment with them and they will pay for your travel costs - my suggestion would be to do the walk thru and get it the same day - and have the travel agency pay for it - if you would like my recomendation on a good agency - send me an e mail
