    RN to MSN program

A representative from Walden University is now available to provide information about their on-line, Doctoral and Masters level courses. This includes a Master of Science in Nursing program. The program is available to RNs who have graduated from associate or diploma nursing programs as well as to those with a bachelor degree in other fields. * *

Walden University is headquartered in Baltimore, MD. The University is regionally accredited* by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Walden has offered advanced degrees on-line for more than 35 years. For more information about Walden University, visit the web site at: www.WaldenU.edu.

The Master’s program in Nursing, which prepares students to focus their practice on the identified health needs of society, and, ultimately, to become leaders in their field is based on the University’s social change mission.

    Program overview: *
    No GRE/GMAT requirement
Students study 100% online on a flexible schedule
Tuition includes books and is many payment options
Financial Aid is available to those that qualify (not income based).

Reply to the local representative, now, Mary Dominguez at: *972-629-6768 or mary.dominguez@waldenU.edu to learn more about the University and the possible tuition reduction being offered. Also, feel free to schedule a site visit for one-on-one information.

Nice of you to drop by and mention Walden's Master's in Nursing program. I agree that Walden University has a lot to offer for working nurses and just wanted to share a school information page I wrote about Walden the other day- which also lists the rest of their online nursing programs:
Walden University Profile and Online Nursing Programs

Regis University also offers an online RN to MSN bridge program in conjunction with The College Network. To help everyone be able to compare both here's more information for everyone about that program as well:

    Re: RN to MSN program

Can someone please tell me if the schools (i.e. phoenix, walden, etc.) that allow you to obtain your graduate degree online are credible? I have not done much research...but I'm skeptical of those programs. II guess it's because I wouldn't know what employers would think...I'm sure they look at this stuff.

Anyways,is obtaining a graduate degree a rising trend in the states? I live in Toronto, Canada, and I don't know any nurse who has taken this route (yet). I for one am interested since I would rather study in the comfort of my own home and at my own pace.

    Thanks
