| Just FYI for all travelers working for Emerald Health- I am on assignment in San Diego and currently had to "fight the wildfires." I was not able to go to work for a week due to the expressway (and the ONLY way to work) was closed because of the fires. I decided to volunteer my time with the Red Cross and work at the Qualcomm Stadium considering I couldn't go to work. I understand the contract that I have to "pay" when I don't got to work, but they did not put into consideration that I COULDN'T get to the hospital. They also would not allow me to make up the time at the end of the contract and I ended up actually losing money on the contract!! Not to mention the housing was HORRIBLE, I found old food and garbage under the beds, just to name one problem.... |
