Hello, everyone!

Will be traveling from Mobile to Baton Rouge in a couple of months. If anybody is familiar with the area, can you give me some hints as to the "safe" areas and areas to avoid, concerned about crime, etc.

What's the easiest or fastest route from Mobile to Baton Rouge? Will be driving late afternoon to evening. Thanks, in advance. Any other tips on traveling around the Baton Rouge area would be much appreciated!
