Anchorage AK. Anyone know of a hospital with a good tele unit?

my wife and I are both travel nurses and are considering doing an assignment in anchorage ak. it sounds like an experience of a lifetime! although the more we talk about it, the less realistic it becomes. for instance, we have a big labrador retriever so housing would be an issue. i here the pay is sub par for rn's with tele experience. the trip one way would be over 3,500 miles so travel expense becomes a factor. lastly, I wonder how the census is in the summer? if it's low would they cancel contracts? looks like i've got a lotta issues. i just want to make sure that this adventure becomes a positive experience. any input would be great!
