Re: Advice please

I would never post my resume on the internet.... you will be harassed by hundreds of recruiters for a looooong time. Instead, I would choose a select number of companies to sign up with.

Wink Re: Advice please

If you post anything just be brief and include no identifying info and MOST of All create a free seperate email address for this only.

Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail are good and free

I like Hotmail the best because you can hae a safe list and a block list.Yahoo only has a block list. Still learning my Gmail .

Also I'd post your email as yourid at yahoo.com or some other creative way so the spammers who use automated programs to scrape up email addresses won't get a hold of yours insuring that all your email are Travel Nursing oriented.

For voicemail I'd use K7 Unified Messaging, free Fax and voicemail to email. It's free and it can be sent automatically to your email and it plays as a wav file (no player needed) accessible by phone too.

as an extra layer of protection you could get some disposable email addresses and foward them to your Travel Nursing address.

Another tip RE: your resume is to scan in as a single pdf file or multi pdf file which is easier to email and more secure.

I try to avoid filling out apps until a recruiter presents a promising assignment.

I have a article on online apps and/or Travel Nurse Documents.

Also really no need to post because you can pm here at Ultimate Nurse or go to my Travel Nursing Company Directory where I have emails and phone numbers listed below each company.

Happy to answer any questions.

Re: Advice please

Fraydo is right: you can PM or e-mail recruiters here on the site. One can't be too careful with spammers or unscrupulous people. *Sigh*
