Advice for Nursing in Middle East

Hi
I am looking in to working in either UAE or Saudi Arabia;
I am an experienced Surgical Nurse with a lot to offer; I would like to hear from anyone who has good or bad experiences, either whilst over there or with the recruitment agencies.

I am also interested in any advice or experiences with regards to the medical checks they do prior to contracting you?
I am fit by UK standards, but an agency has suggested a history of mild depression 4 years ago may exclude me - do they check up information with GP/doctors?
