Hi all. I am on my first assignment in Austin Tx. Is there any travellers in the area? If anyone wants to get together let me know. There is alot to do here and I have done some of it but I think it would be more fun to go with other people that are new to the area. They should start an area in here for people like me who are looking for people to meet. It can get lonely sometimes when you are traveling alone.

Are you still in Austin? Which hospital do/did you work at and did you like it?
What unit do/did you work in and did you find it traveler friendly? I'm looking to go to Austin soon but was wondering what hospitals are good there. I work in the NICU so if you have heard anything about NICU's in Austin, whether there good places to go and travel to then please let me know. Do you like Austin and would you recommend me traveling to there? Hope you found some people to hang out with
I have since gone on to San Antonio and just finished there. I am hanging out with my boyfriend for a few days and then I am off to California. I love Austin!!!! I worked in med/surg so I can't tell you much about NICU. I have heard that the new Dell Children's Hospital is looking for help. I was at St David's and they were awesome for the most part. There are always a few that do not like travellers. I made quite a few good friends here. I am hoping to come back soon. Good luck
