    Thur 2/19

Good early morning. It's 1 a.m. here. I got sent home at 2330 after some late discharges we were over staffed and since I didn't sleep much today and had 4 days scheduled I said I'd go. I don't mind to work my schedule or extra if needed but I'm just as happy to leave if I'm not needed. Going to bed in a minute and hope to sleep a bit later in the morning. The wind is really blowing now and there's a little lightening in the distance. It was 70 degrees as I was driving home from work they say it'll be cooler in the morning when the wind blows in the cold from the north...still upper 50's to low 60's but that's ok.

Thanks for starting the daily Thread, Cass! It worked out quite well, as :nurse-fan: last night. Was getting ready for bed, and DON called. Needs me to come in early. Guess that means a 14 hour day.

I'll try to drop by later, but can't guarantee my sanity.

I'm going to have to go to bed here in a little while so I can work tonight. I didn't sleep well when I did go to bed last night then the electric went out and I laid there waiting for my kid to wake up screaming (like last time) he didn't and it was only off about 25 minutes then the dog wanted to go out at 7 this morning AGH...went for a little walk on the beach with the dog then walked her back up the street...not my normal 3 hr walk only about 45 minutes my heel isn't up for a long walk today.
Hope everyone has a good one.

Enjoying some time off- my sister & her husband arrived yesterday, and it's nice to not have to think about work for a few days....

Gawd! A 14 hour day and a half. Tired, tired, tired. Slept like hell last night, knowing I had to get in as soon as I could. Was a decent day, but looooong.
