Does anybody know what the procedure is for nursing homes running checks on their nurses licences? for example, how often, if at all, do they verify the status?
Here in IL, they can run a check on line at the BON site. They do that when they review your app.
They should be verifying them upon hire, and then at least every 2 years when they come due to be renewed. Most states do an online verification.
