What is Hospice?

I have always been an advocate of Hospice care, and cringe when those 'less informed' start in on that Hospice hastens death, etc.

Remember, Hospice is also used for end stage CHF, and several other end stage illnesses.

Thanks for posting the link to that article. I'm currently working as a CHPNA (Certfied Hospice and Palliative Nursing Assistant-nationally certified), while working towards my RN degree. Many people in the medical field do not realize what Hospice is, thanks for taking the time to educate
