    lpn schooling

Hi all! sorry if this post show up twice, I got an error message and don't know that it posted the first time. I am trying to find out what to expect in lpn school, I read somewhere that you don't do blood work ect. I was supprised to read this as I thought I would be taught how to give I.V. ect.

Also anyone know a good online resource for brushing up on my math for the entrance exam?
    Thanks!

    Cool Re: lpn schooling

Most LPN programs do not have IV training. Some have an IV certification class that is separate and offered after graduation. Not everyone attends if it is not mandatory. The cost is usually separate. You should go to a bookstore and look for any basic math refresher book in the test preparation aisle. You can also find math info in books that are specific for the nursing entrance exams. Good luck and welcome to the site.
