Good Morning.
Shopping, no. After I get off, I am going to pay a couple of bills and back home to do a little cleaning.
Have a great one.

Good morning, everyone! It's the infamous Day after Christmas; anyone heading out and battling the crowds?
It's supposed to be quite warm today and tomorrow. After that, we will see.
Time to get ready for work.

I put in 4 hours today, while other half heads to his work's MD for 'release to work'. Plus, need sticker for car, and who know's what else.
I give up.

Ah, it's a bit after 3; everyone else doing the post-Holiday shopping?
I, too, worked four hours today from 11a until 3pm.

This has been a horrible past two days. I spent yesterday morning with a friend of mine who was admitted to the CVICU then proceeded to make my way home when the Axle(or strut) on my car went Crack, and caused me to wreck. I'm fine, but that is more than I can say for my car.

If I may ask, what is up with friend, and what the heck happened to cause axle to bust???
This friend is a friend of the family, he is 65, with congestive heart failure, and the fluid is surrounding his heart, which of course only makes it worse.
As for the axle, I am not sure. I was just driving and all the sudden the driver side went down to what I measured later as 7" from the ground, while the passenger side stayed at its normal level. I thought my tire had blown, then I heard that awful metal noise. I was going about 55 and slid into the guard rail. I am just glad there was no oncoming traffic. This has definately not been my week.

This has not been a good year. Look at what all's happened to Aaron, me, and Amanda. Sick, car problems, death in family, and all of that stuff. Thankfully, you are ok.![]()

Ok, the weather is completely nuts! It is now 51 degrees (!), with fog all over. My folks can't leave the house, as the driveway is 75 feet long, and iced over. Dad is NOT gonna chance it, and refuses to use salt on the thing. Ruins the concrete.
