    Unhappy help on breastfeeding

I am going back to work and i want to keep breastfeeding my baby. But it is almost impossible for me to have a half hour break to pump if I went back to the wards. It is just too busy. And I do not want to quit the job. It is hard for me to find another job.

Can anyone give me advice? My doctor said she could not help.

have you talked to your boss? is it at a hospital? Many hospitals are trying to get the baby friendly label which allows breast feeding time. You do get your breaks so make sure to take them. You can also wean just to the times you won't be home it just takes a little practice. Cut out one feeding at a time...(if your baby hasn't had a bottle start early and have someone else feed them if you can they might protest a bottle from you) when you and the baby get used to skipping that time cut out the next time you'll be gone. Nurse her right before you leave and as soon as you get home. It can be done and your body and baby will adjust.

oh and if you're at a hospital with an OB unit they might have a place where you can use their hospital grade pump and then it wouldn't take as much time to pump

    Re: help on breastfeeding thanks

My hospital does not have OB. neither they like breastfeeding nurse. but I can bring my pump. the break time is 10 min and lunch time is 30 min. My minimum pump time is 30 min. I saw one nursing mother had her scrub wet with milk. Now I know the reason since i will experience too.
