    Alright! I am in!

    Hey everyone,

I recently got accepted into the accelerated nursing program at UBC here in Canada, British Columbia. It's a 2 year program and it begins in september so I can't wait! :houra:

Congratulations on gaining acceptance into Nursing school.

I don't know the difference between nursing schools in the U.S. and Nursing schools in Canada, nor the male to female ratio but I'm sure you'll do fine!

Please check in often to keep us updated on your progress in school and let us know if there are any nursing related questions we can help you with!

Thanks Aaron. I dont think there is a huge difference btw the US and canadian schools. I've heard from a male nurse that even before he graduated from school, that US hospitals were calling him up to work for them. My plan is actually to move to seattle or washington after getting my RN and getting some experience elsewhere. I've grown up in vancouver BC pretty much all my life, so it would be good to travel and work somewhere else and at the same time be close enough to drive back to BC on the weekends. :houra:

Congrats! I got into the program too and I'm so excited! Have you received your information package from the school yet?
