Back to work tonight....![]()

Good morning, folks. Yes, it's Sunday, and I'm gonna be busy. Not TOO busy, though, to take time out at 11:55 am my time and remember the attack on Pearl Harbor. My one uncle was there, and made it back; he lost a friend, though.
Moving slowly right now. Do have the coffee right here, and should get self moving pretty soon.
Will be back later,

The whole day has been completely nertz! People who usually work the breakfast didn't show up d/t 'being sick' (and they were fine last night....). Thus, I get shanghai'd into doing things. Things missing/lost in transit, freezer needed unlocking.... Can't get some pictures developed off my CD. I wish the day was over, but then I'd have to finish everything some other day, and the days are already packed. Blah!
'Manda, have a better night then I'm having thus far.
why in the world am i the worlds worst procrastinator? i really should be studying for finals, but find myself burnt out so bad that i just don't want too...help i think i have lost my mind. lol

I truly hate the way Graduate schools grade. Instead of saying you make 90% out of 100, they put your grade down as 0.9/1, which scares you to death, because for some reason when you pull it up in the statistics it shows your class average as like 2.42%, as it is pulling it's data out of 100. This, of course results in a panic attack because you think you horribly failed the course, even though you have never made less than 85 on an exam and have never failed a clinical!
To top this off, I could not get in touch with the professor until about an hour ago, so I sat here from 7 am to 2 pm thinking that I failed the course and was truly feeling like a failure; when all the while I had passed the course. I think I might have to spend the day in the rubber room.

I wish I could, but I have to work the Unit tonight, and I don't think that will fly over too well. I could run whenever I see the lab tech approach me with two gray lactate tubes though. hmm. I have cooled down after my panic and am just glad to have made an A.

Well, you may not be able to hit the ETOH right now, but maybe your next day/night off.
BTW....Soldier is STILL MIA. What all did you guys get into? Hang on...according to my husband, his family DID get 'run out' as their still was never found. Were you guys anywhere near Kentucky the other day?![]()
NashVegas is about an hour and a half from Kentucky, if even that long.
Thank God the National Registry implants GPS locators in all paramedics upon receipt of licensure, otherwise I would be worried about him.
