My family and I want to relocate to Hawaii. I am interested in taking a 13 week contract to test out the area before moving permanently in August. I have been a med/tele RN for 10 years but no travel experience. Any advice of where to look, who to contact? Any travelers out there been to Hawaii? What are good hospitals and the pits to work at? We don't want to go to Oahu. Mostly the big island around Kona or Maui. Anyone here have experience in those places, the advice would be greatly appreciated.

What islands were you assigned to? What hospital did you work at? How are the conditions and job life there? I currently work in the bay area. We are always busy. I work tele so we have 4 patients or 5 on medical. But their acutities are heavy. Just looking for some inside info on conditions. Thanks
