Well, class starts back today. It is 6 am right now, and I am doing the usual morning rush. I'll be back on later this afternoon.

So, it's Thursday, and it's also the middle of the month. Been a bit lonely here in the Daily Thread. What's up with all of you?????? Hope to see someone else post when I get back.

I took emergency leave last Tuesday. Received a phone call from my son that they were at the hospital and his wife was in labor. Finished talking to him and called my boss. He told me to come in the office long enough to fill out the leave request.
It took me around 2.5 hours to drive from Universal City to Metroplex hospital in Kileen. I arrived about 45 minute after Cooper was born.

I slept till NOON after going to bed right after midnight and slept 8 hrs yesterday I guess it's all those only sleeping a couple of hours the past few days. I work the next 2 nights.
DH went to a little reserve station and got our Disney tickets today they were sold out on base already...less the $200 for 3 5 day tickets (ok his was free but for 2 of us that's still great) guess 20 years of service is good for something LOL free disney tickets cause the pension our government pay is not so hot.
I am keeping said self at home. It is too dry out there for me.
