Well, it's nearly quarter to 11; where are you guys? Enjoying the day? Working? Sleeping?
Ricu, how's the house repair doing?

Mornin', everyone; it's Hump Day. I'm just waking up here, so not much really going on---yet.

I just got back in from a staff meeting. I will be drastically changing my schedule. Starting around June 1, I will no longer be with the ambulance service. My time will be split between the chopper and the TRU.
We just discussed the schedule and it looks like I will be 7 days a week 12:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the TRU and every other week, I will be on the chopper(probably 24 on 48 off), schedule is not set in stone yet. This is just another stepping stone on my path to Charge Nurse.

Getting ready to go job hunting again. Hope to find an employer that not only hires me, but also actually has some work for me! Oh, how I hate this! :crazy1:
Geez, you guys really make me want to get back to the work grind-not. Only kidding.
House repair and general clean-out activity is coming along, Cat. Thanks to much needed rain, here that is, I've slowed down a bit. I don't want to be unloading lumber or loading refuse outside so I've just been sorting. Hmm, I think the shed needs a little attention too, from my son particularly. Between the go-cart which isn't used anymore, bikes that are too small for the riders now, and and the taxidermied turkey wings (don't ask), I've lost a lot of usable space. Yeah, I'm getting a little stir crazy.
Robert, glad to hear that you're on your way to becoming Charge Nurse but with that weeklong schedule, how will you get classes in? Are you doing your graduate work online?
Cali, good luck. Something has to break for you.

Yeah, Rob....when does that mean you'll be in/at class and on here?
Cali, something WILL come up. Am sure you'll find things to do---maybe help Ricu?! Hehe. :nurse-rofl:
I connect to UltimateNurse.com via L2TP, in other words--so long as I can connect up, I can use my internet service wherever I go. I connect to UN through a variety of sources, Smartphone, laptop, etc; all through connecting through my home server, allowing me to administrate from anywhere I am.
While I will be on shift more hours with my new schedule, they are more stable hours. I do not have to worry about being on the bus at this time of night and then on to the hospital or the base. My schedule will be, for lack of a better term, "Set in stone". This should actually give me more time to work with UltimateNurse.com. Most of our day in EMS is down time. We average about 4 calls per chopper per shift; the rest of the time is spent restocking, doing paperwork, and watching TV. I will have plenty of down-time to work on UN.

LOL, Yeah, I need all the help I can get.
Rob, I very much appreciate your commitment to UN but I really want to hear that you're continuing your education amidst everything else. You know, in between the seconds of the minutes...

Trust me. Summer semester is going strong. During the summer semester, all of my courses are online. During the fall semester, I will be back in classes on campus. There is a definite benefit to working at your University's medical center.

Well, I talked myself into job hunting first thing tomorrow morning. Feel depressed now. Think I should have gone for lunch to get some energy to fight the traffic and find a place to park. Around here it is a big project just to get around to the different employers. I'm definitely not enthused. Hope everyone is having a nice afternoon.
