I have been traveling with RN Network for over a year and a half now, they have excellent benefits, and have been very good to me- PM me if you'd like my recruiter's contact info.
Hey Ya'll, I am new to the forums and new to travleing. I would really like to get any advice from experienced travelers about the best companies, the best cities to travel too etc. Pretty much whatever you think is important. Thanks!

I have been traveling for quite some time, I know the bigger companies are not always good at getting back to you at least that is my experience. I have recently talked to a recruiter at RTG Medical and they have excellent benefits, and are great with getting back to me on questions I have. I would be more then happy to give you her information, just email me and I can get that to you !!Congrats and welcome

I'm starting my first assignment in a couple of weeks with Nurse Choice. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. I'm basically clueless at this point. I would like to know if I'm missing anything. I really need direction.
I am not sure how to use this site. I tried to post this message and could seem to do it and don't know how to post it to specifically travel nurses. So please forgive me if it is poor etiquette to post my own questions as a reply, I just don't know how else to do it. Signing up was easy but now I need some instructions!
I would like to start doing travel nursing, however my L&D experience is about 6 years ago. I worked in the field for 14 years prior to my current job in ambulatory care. For those of you that do this, do you think I can jump back in as a travel nurse or do you think it will be necessary for me to work in my field for a while before I do the travel nurse thing?
Most hospitals want 1-2 years of recent experience in your specialty- you could try picking up PRN shifts in L & D to get some more current experience before hitting the road.
