On the road again

Hi! I have been a traveler on & off for many,many years. I find it is the ONLY way to go at least for me. I can take a month off if I need to, not put up with any BS and I like seeing different areas of the country. I have a couple of places to hang out between contracts but my home base is FL. I also have a close friend in S.Oregon so depending on the season is where I regroup, collect myself for the next onslaught. OR/PACU is my speciality and I have been in the perioperative arena for almost 30 years. Now that I am circling the drain of the big 6-0 I find the OR very physically demanding which I never realized until now. That's why time off is so precious to me. Well, this will be fun connecting with other like-minded nurses! Caio bella!:cool-nurse:

Florida can be quite hot at times, so I can understand the Oregon bit.
