    New to this board!

Hi I am a new RN and have been working for about 8 weeks now at a hospital in the Surgical Care unit. I'm excited to be a part of this board!

I am new to this board as well and look forward to having a wonderful experience here. I am a LVN in Texas and got my results today. I am excited and a little nervous as well, but if there is any advice please responsed. I am thinking about home health vs. nursing home. Any ideas. If am posting this responce in the wrong thread please forgive. Thanks for letting me share my news.

HI DIXILIGHT! WELCOME TO YOU ALSO. ACTUALLY, I AM NEW TO THIS SITE. i AM NOT A NEW RN THOUGH. MY SPECIALTY IS THE O R WHICH I TRULY HAVE A PASSION FOR. CAN'T IMAGINE WORKING ANY WHERE ELSE. IT'S GOOD THAT WE ALL DON'T WANT TO DO THE SAME THING. GOOD LUCK IN YOUR CAREER AND I HOPE THAT IT WILL BE AS REWARDING FOR YOU AS IT HAS BEEN FOR ME. GOD BLESS AND TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF.

Sorry for this reply being a bit late.. welcome aboard. This forum is a great way for nurses to exchange ideas, solve problems and be able to vent their problems to people with (for the most part) unbiased opinions. Welcome aboard
