Your JFK Opinion

I just got done watching the movie "JFK". Although I've seen it before, maybe I didn't pay enough attention to it. What exactly happened? Too many unknowns out there for the theory of Oswald doing it alone. Who else was in on it? I have no answers, but what I can say is that it is very strange. I'd like to hear everyone's opinions on the subject. I'd love to hear from anyone who was actually in Dallas at the time, or in Washington during the time. All theories, opinions, critisisms, and speculations welcome.

When each of gets to the Pearly Gates then we'll know.

I don't believe there was enough sophisticated technology back then for us to ever know. DNA etc.

I don't know but I do think others had to be in on it. My younger brother could talk to you for hours on it. Same with Princess Di there's more to the story.

Re: Your JFK Opinion

I do know this much. JFK had just pulled 1,000 troops out of V.N.. and was pulling us out of the war. Less than a week after JFK's death LBJ put 1,000 troops back in the war and really screwed this country up. I truly think he had some backing and inside info on the death of JFK.

Re: Your JFK Opinion

I think it was less than 48 hours after his death that he sent troops back in there, and reversed all efforts to get our troops out of there. Also the VP was set to be sworn in within minutes, or less than a few hours, as if it was planned for him to be ready for it. Very suspicious if you ask me.

Re: Your JFK Opinion

Most VP's are ready to take over the reins so to speak. It's part of the job.

Re: Your JFK Opinion

Of course, but this was ready and set up with all the key people there moments after the assasination. It just so happen that all the key members it takes were together at that exact moment. Rarely if at all are these people all together at the same time, much less on a plane together, minutes after an assasination that has so many people speculating so many details.

Re: Your JFK Opinion

The entire JFK scene is strange to me. My husband is a history buff so I hear all about things from pre-Civil war (like American Revolution) until today. He believes that the government was involved with the assasination. Primarly because of the "shady" dealings of JFK. He was supposedly linked to the mob, of course he supposedly had the affair with Marilyn Monroe and the Vietnam war stats mentioned earlier all combined to what my husband feels that was just cause for them to be involved. Well, THEY thought it was just cause, not my husband. He feels that the government "needed" to get him out of the White House but there were no justifiable grounds for impeachment, so that was not even an option. But, you know everyone has a theory. I personally have not formed one because I think in order for us to be able to form solid opinions on it, we would have to have first hand knowledge of the JFK era, and I don't have that.

I've had this discussion so many times with my friends that they shudder when I bring it up.....as for me, I still think it was Professor Plum in the library with the candlestick.
