Mornin', all! It's Hump Day, we have a light drizzle here, and on top of that, having trouble with the Internet. *Sigh*. Thought things only went wrong on Mondays. Guess not.

I got called off today. There were extra staff scheduled for 1/2 day inservices then they got canceled so that put everyone on the floor. I could have said not call somebody else but I was at the top of the manditory list and if the others said no I'd have still gotten it....might have to go in at 3 and work 4 hours (there are just a few 8 hour people that throw the monkey wrench into the mix and leave the unit short 3-11 I hate going for 4 hours) I'm going to my sons school for a conference (he's 9) just a yearly update thing with goals for next year....I hate to be a non-involved parent but they child works so far above of his grade level the meeting is a bit useless.
If I don't work tonight I'm off until Saturday YES!!!!

We got a down pour earlier. It's well north of where you are, but I am sure you'll get some of it anyhow.

License renewal was found in mailbox today. Check is filled out, stamp is on envelope....and awaaaay it goes! Another 2 years.

So, I confirmed my next assignment today. At the beginning of June I will be heading back to Cedar Rapids, IA for the summer. That way, I can be close to family for my sister's wedding in WI this summer....
