Good morning, all! We got about 2 inches of snow yesterday, maybe a bit more. Looks nice, but who knows about the driving.
I know....it's winter. Still, we've been a bit on the 'not much snow' side for years. Cold, figid air...lots of it.; snow....less and less.

Anyhow, how are you all doing?

Cold and gray outside, and I can hear the rain on the metal roof. Got things to do today, but maybe they can wait until after lunch. Think I'll crawl back into bed for a little while. Since I'm a night shifter, even when I'm off, this is prime sleeping time.

Good morning everyone. Just getting ready to sleep for work tonight. It is cold and has been raining this morning as I drove from work.

Have a great rest of your day.

Well, the snow eventually melts. I figure that should help the dry spots in the South, eh?

Just can't fathom what they're thinking, Cat...
And yes, the south can use all the wet stuff we can get. I have to get a new well drilled or face endless water rationing.

Re: Tuesday, January 22, 2008

So many communities are using water from the Great lakes here, and they wonder why the lake levels are dropping?!

We have a well, also. Thankfully, it is doing great. There' been a bit of flooding on the nearby rivers, and I can't see us having much of a shortage. However, the summer rains will tell....
