Good Morning!!

Here I am, coffee in hand, looking out at a beautiful day AND it's finally cooler. For a change, I don't have a million things on the schedule either today so, I'm kick'in back. Sometimes you have to put yourself first, right?

My "cyber sense" tells me that lately, some of my friends here are in need of a little kick'in back time too. We get into a cycle where we burn out and someone else points that out for us. Online stuff like this forum, chat rooms, PMs, and all where we can "connect" are all well and fine, but frustrating because they lack the personal touch. I feel like I've come to know and care about you guys and some of you are sending serious stress vibes. I wish I could sit down or take a walk with you. Nothing replaces proximity.

Well, I'm heading off to the gym before the crowd comes. I'll check back later,

Stress? Never heard of it. The only thing getting me right now is my boss' inability to create a civil schedule. Just found out a co-worker took a request day off, and I got put down without being asked. Can we say :bite me:?

Thanks for the coffee. It's time for my afternoon cup now, too. Sorry to hear about the scheduling woes. Once upon a time we had perdiem help for those things but I never see them anymore. Too bad.

I just got the call that my new specs are ready so I'll check in again later when I can see better.

What a beautiful cat, Cat. Now that I can see, that is...

Yeah, I've worn glasses most of my life. Would love to get rid of 'em too but, don't see that ever changing. Checked into Lasik a few years ago and been told by several doctors that I'm not a candidate. Bummer, but at least it's something I'm used to living with.

Okay. Now, where's my cane?
