OMG I'm here first today instead of last

I have an Avon presidents club lunch today I've won the grandprize 3 of the last 4 years...wonder what my prize will be this year LOL

We went the Time Bandit book signing last night after work. When we got there the parking lot was packed and the book had sold out (I read an excerpt and it was a pretty good read) My friend and I went up by the front of the line where there were some chairs set up and were heard to say gosh the book is sold out all we want is a picture so the guy taking pictures (I think it was the authors' dad) said ok you're next and lead us around the rope and the guys got up and we got our picture....then being the bad person I am said to the one who has the "bad boy" image and has been known to say he likes to ride Harleys...I say Jonathan this is my friend Harley if you need a ride he laughed and watched us walk of told my friend she missed her chance LOL. You know I don't care we'll never see them again and we were having fun.

Thanks for starting the daily Thread, Cass! I know I'd been starting it a bit early lately, but my sleep pattern is totally out of whack.

I'd started reading the Elizabeth George books a few years ago.... the Inspector Lynley series. A new book came out earlier this month, and I have been wanting to hit B&N to read it. The series is pretty decent, and this book should be interesting......

Cougar is that Nothern in my state or a different one. Is the weather today as good a yesterday?

Different state altogether, MICU. It's only 10 minutes to 10, and who knows what the weather'll be like by noon or so. Were you hit by any of the storms that went through?

I didn't win the grand prize this year....it was a lamp set with a floor lamp and 2 table lamps...didn't need it anyway I did get the 1st door prize drawn though a wood desk organizer probably would be about $50 in the store.
