Great Morning to All!

Did my yard work yesterday, along with two hours martial arts. The neighbor across the street is home for two weeks R&R from Iraq. His wife is hosting a party for him this afternoon. He is AF but think his deployment is 12 months. I have not met him & look toward doing such this afternoon. My son goes on R&R this month, too. He has planned for them (him, wife & son) to come visit us on the 20th. Honestly, I dread the day I go back to Iraq ( or Afghanistan). However, most likely it would be 6 months rather than 15.

Good morning....I think. Just rolled ot of bed, thanks to the 'Drill Sgt.' here. Am amazed I slept this long, but then again, after last night.... Oh, I did wake up once during the night; normal, as I sometimes imagine I hear the phone ring.

You may end up going back? If so.....more care packages, eh? My friend's son was in Italy for a while. Forgot why, though.

Well, time to start getting self ready here.

It's trying to drizzle, but failing for the most part. Knowing my luck, it'll start raining like heck when I get on the road.
