Mornin'; just waiting for the anvil/rock/whatever to fall. Don't know why, but could not sleep last night. Thus, I feel like well used cat litter.

Of course, we still don't know anything more about what happened with Michael Jackson. Could it have been a publicity stunt gone wrong? After all, he was due to go on tour.

I gotta go find coffee.

Red face Re: Saturday, June 27th, 2009

Good morning. Heard that they will be doing further testing and will defer the cause of death. It has been interesting to read all the stories about the $400 million in debt that he left. Just think how it would be if after we go, they talk about how much debt we left. What a legacy!

Regarding the debt: How much you wanna bet that quite a bit will be written off? If so, why can't that be done for us 'little people'?

Unhappy Re: Saturday, June 27th, 2009

I just now heard a piece on NPR about how the tremendous rise in sales of Michael's work will take years to decide where it goes in the scheme of things. I would hate to be a little nobody working on the management of his estate. They made the remark that he was a millionaire living like a billionaire and did the same thing most of the rest of us do, live beyond his means, except with more zeroes. I think it is atrocious that the government is coming up with ways to help people with mortgage problems. It is a slap in the face to those who have lost their homes in the past and those who will lose their homes in the future with nobody to bail them out. If you are going to do something like that, everybody deserves the same consideration. And somebody can bail me and my family out any time they please. I ain't proud.
