Morning, everyone! It's Saturday again. From what I hear, we're gonna get hit by another cold spell, starting this afternoon. Will it ever end? Guess it's gonna be cold next weekend, too, after a warm up. *Sigh*.

Have the day off- but I'm sick. Started antibiotics yesterday for bronchitis.....

I got low census today (I asked for it) I was asked to work peds last night as they have a critical need with a few nurses moving to other jobs and now they have some out with the flu on their unit. I wish I could have done that it's $4 more per hour (crit need pay) then overtime if you've got the hours. I don't work again until Wed now Yippy. I'm going with my sons 3rd grade class on a field trip on Tues. Just lazy today. My son and I went with mom this morning to a masonic breakfast (brothers are the masons) they were having a fund raiser but really just broke even didn't make any money.
It's warm here today and will be tomorrow but then the snow comes again.....I've also been checking out the FLA hospitals.

I'm on another committee (before I head off to travel) it's the nursing model....what model does everyone like? I've been researching them. The hospital wants to adopt one across the board from OB to ER to MS to home health that covers them all. I think one of the caring models is looking best. Anybody? Anybody?
