Happy official first day of Winter, all! Guess it 'occurred' at about 1:10 this morning. You know what that means.......3 months of this stuff.

So how is everyone doing? Great, I hope. Am still tired, as I didn't sleep too good.

Any of you students hear how your grades were?

Re: Saturday, December 22nd, 2007

Beautiful day outside here in Central Texas. The Tmax forecast is upper 50's w/clear blue sky. Susan & I plan to go walk the hike-n-bike trail down in Austin, which is now called Lady Bird Johnson lake formerly called simply Town Lake.

I sure dread taking Susan to the airport, as well as I leaving for Iraq the following day [31st].

Yea, time flys when your having fun. My R&R officially started on the 13th even though I arrived in Austin the afternoon of the 12th. We were given 18 days off, rather than 15 D/T depolyment extended from 12-15 months. I'm hoping the days pass quickly from JAN-June.
