Good early morning. It's 2am CST right now. I went in to work at 1845 last night then got sent home just before midnight d/t low census but I'm on call incase things get busy...that's ok I was working overtime anyway... we were busting butt the previous 2 nights then low tonight...women just come in have their babys and stay 24-48 hr and get out of Dodge. Hopefully they'll all stay home the rest of the night so I don' tget called back in need to go to bed soon so I can do something during the day.
It's going to be about 30 tonight (coldest it's been in 3 years I'm told) but better then those negative numbers.

Today's my Dad's birthday, and back then, a 'normal birth' would land you at least 5 days in the hospital. Seeing as he was a section, that was a bit longer.

I need coffee right now. Had the puppy sleep with us last night, and he did NOT move very much.

I needed coffee this morning too but my H2O was frozen this AM, took a while to get things flowing again. Spent a while in the well-pit with a hair drier and sundry other tools ended up cold, wet and shivering still no coffee yet faucet plugged with stuff broken free from inside of pipes. As of yet a miserable morning.

Put Simon & Garfunkle G/H on to get the blood pumping again, a little "Celia" and "Mrs.Robinson" never hurts.

I walked about 8 miles on the beach today then DH and son picked me up and we went to Margaritaville. I had a hurricaine which I don't think had any measuring of the alcohol it was quite strong (and I haven't had a drink for probably 6 months or more lush that i am) then we played putt putt (it was 49 out and the sun going down) so got a bit frozen by then but I still won!!!!

Ahhh....cow pasture pool! (AKA golf) Never could get into that. Now cast iron skillet tossing, or tomahawk throwing is a definate!

Orion, my dad had the same problem. I swear for someone who thinks things out, he didn't do so when they built the house. Then again....who knew we'd have this happen 40 years later.

Listening to youtube right now: an obscure song named 'Hot Summer Night' by Night YouTube - hot summer night - Night Just felt like hearing it again.

Oh, Cass: do NOT drink Hurricanes made in New Orleans! My uncle had about 2 or 3 and about kissed the pavement. Mind you, he's done his share during the Reserves, so...the drink does pack a whap.
