pros and cons of dating co workers

anybody out their dated their co worker? what are the pros and cons of it? did it affect your work?

I never gave it a thought, honestly. Closest I ever came was going out with a fellow student CNA after clinicals were over.

I used to be married to a co-worker when I worked in a factory there were at least 5 other couples there. The only one where it was a problem was when one husband was the direct supervisor of his wife and he wasn't really fair in assignments. I work with 1 nurse (nursery) who is married to an ER nurse and a few dating couples. I don't see any problems with them but there could be if one was in that supervisor position...or if they are fighting at home.

You always hear that you shouldn't date co-workers, etc., blah, blah. But if you work a lot and spend a large amount of time in the workplace, where else are you going to meet people?
