Good morning, all! It's Christmas Eve! I haven't seem many posts lately, so.....is it safe to say you are done with all your holiday shopping and baking?

Was anyone affected by those snow storms or high winds yesterday?

During this season where all is calm... LOL, mortars over my head during the first week of December in Iraq. However, been on R&R in Texas since the 12th. So, yes all is calm and the Texas sky is beautiful. We did have wind advisory warnings yesterday Otherwise, the weather here has been awesome. Sure nice not seeing a red sandy sky. Shopping was completed two days ago. This has been one of the best holidays in my +46 years with my wife in my arms, my youngest son graduating college, getting commissioned 2LT [Army Medical Service Corps], and getting married. Wow, a great time but I hate to leave on the 31st. I'll be in Iraq for six more months... a total of 15.
