Good morning, everyone! Boy, the weekend went by fast. It was awfully quiet, also. What was everyone up to? Working? Picnics? Staying cool? Looks like Missouri, Arkansas, and parts of a few other states are still under Heat Advisories. Anyone from those states can fill us in? True, 6 months ago, we were freezing; one extreme to another, eh?

Back in IA now, was visiting family in WI for the past several days, now it's back to work tonight!

Weather was pretty decent today, but possibly 'quite' warmer tomorrow. Hope you're not hit by those storms due to plow through Iowa.....or affected by the heat, either!

I went back to work today (first one after a week off after dad's death) it was ok. We weren't really busy and my patient was the daughter-in-law of one of my mom's good friends who I hadn't seen for about 8 years until a little bit during visitation last week so after delivery I had a chance to talk to her some and she's always so sweet and supportive. We're getting new IV pumps and I'm going to be a "super user" so had a meeting about that for a couple of hours...nothing really too exciting there....I work tomorrow 7a-7p and am somehow scheduled on-call 3p-7a then I'm off until next Wednesday.

Still have a few of the crazy family hanging around but they leave on Wednesday also YIPPY.
