Michigan nurses needed.

Michigan nurses are needed for govt work. Go to http://mi.gov/dmva and click on the lower left hand link "volunteer defense force". It is an auxillery component of the army national guard that reports only to the state. It is non-deployable outside of state lines. All training is done in state also. They meet a few weekends a year and if activated get paid the same as normal soldiers. Training is done at national guard bases in Michigan hosted by the health dept and office of public prepardness. A main part of the job is to pass out medicine and vacines in emergencies. They fillin for deployed national guard units that would traditionaly do that. No prior military service is needed to join either. A great place to get experience and help the state at the same time. Membership is also a skip in the vacine line if a crisis like bird flu hits after all dead soldiers cant hand out medicine. This is a new program and most dont know about it please pass it on. You dont need to be a nurse but it helps. They also need people from all walks of life including veterans, college students, CNA, ect. If you have a bachelors degree you can apply to be an officer also. If you know anyone who could be interested please tell them we have about 170 but need at least 500 members to be mission ready if activated.
