| Re: Happy New Year 2008 Happy New Year...... I'm on call at 3 today. It's my grandaughters 7th b-day today. She's been spending a few days with my mom so they are making a cake today to take home with her and mom is going to take my 9 yr old with them today for cake at my daughters. DH and I took the kids to see Alvin and the Chipmunks yesterday afternoon then in the evening for our big night out the kids and I played a game with mom then when she quit my brother joined in. We were home by 9:30. My son wanted to stay up until midnight. He saw the ball drop on TV which was 11 here (central time) I was in bed by 11:15. Got up this morning and DH made breakfast....just hope they don't call me in today.

Went to the Moose Lodge, had dinner, and stayed there until 1 o'clock-ish. Had a good time. Before that, had to deal with some computer problems, then went to see a friend of mine out of town. So you're on CST time, eh Cass? Same here! I need coffee..... |

| Banned | Re: Happy New Year 2008 Monday morning I got on a plane in Austin for DFW. Changed planes in Dallas, and after stops in Atlanta, and Shannon, Ireland, I arrived in Kuwait around 2130 Tuesday. So, the last day of 2007 and first day of 2008 I was on a plane. My wife & I will celebrate the new year a little late... like when my present deployment is finished in June. We did have a great time during my 18 days R&R from 13-31 DEC. Although, Susan had to fly back on the 30th. |

| Administrator | Re: Happy New Year 2008 Well, the first day of 2008 is nearly over, or IS over if you are EST here in the States. Hope you all had a great day....and if you were feeling like heck earlier, hope you're feeling better. Hope that everyone who can, will stop by the Daily Thread more often this New Year. 'Cat' |
